My goodness. I woke up to a blizzard this morning (nature’s April Fool’s joke on New England), so my plan to drive south for a while is being put on hold. In the meantime, I found this little gem:
In recognition of the Weeks Act’s 100th anniversary, New Hampshire Public Radio did a series of programs on the White Mountains National Forest, the Weeks Act, and other related history. Some interesting tidbits in there. You can find a directory of the radio snippets here. I couldn’t get the media player to work, but the “download” link just lets you listen to a mp3 of each radio spot.
